Eagle 1 - caught 10 Rainbow Trout (14 in) using Irresistible, Caddis Goddard, Mosquito;
Comments: Water was cooold where Sockeye Creek entered- 48'f/8'c otherwise 52'f/11'c. I tried a bunch of different flies (sinking/dry) while putting around the entrance, but most success was on the flies above. Amazing how the fish could pick these out from all the debris floating in the chop. It took 2 hours to row my pontoon (not just lollygagging)with a strong wind at my back to this area. A few to the boat on the way up and back to launch. Nice to get some firm fish, not the mushy lower mainland type. Average size was 13".
