Moods - caught 2 Cutthroat Trout (1.5 lb) using Muddler Yellow Marabou (Nothing), Tied Down Minnow Blue Bucktail (Nothing);
Comments: Fished the upper river below the dam with no success. About 15 other fisherman and no one had any luck. Tried swinging flies (minnow and egg patterns) and stripping minnow patterns thru slack water with no luck. Had no luck tossing spinners either. Drove down river and fished just above the trailer park. Caught a nice 16" cutty on my fourth cast with a white and red scaled croc. Caught the second two casts later on the same. First salmon fry are starting to hatch so I am thinking fishing should be good in the coming weeks
