Lostwages - caught 16 Rainbow Trout (14 in) using Flash Bugger Olive (I ran this on a type 4 sink. );
Comments: It was a cloudy day but when the sun broke through the clouds the fish got very active. I was teaching my wife how to bring in fish on the fly, so we lost a few more. She did great and landed a few fish in the 12-16 inch range. The fish in here do get to some decent size but a majority are in the 9 to 12 inch range. The lake is full of fish and we had at least 50 bites, I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in learning to fly fish and wants a little peace and quiet from the city! Tip: Slow steady line movements, as this time of year the fish arn't aggressively feeding till the evening. Most of the bites you feel you have to let them hit 4 times before they hook up. So be patient and dont tug the rod when you feel that first bite!
